Product Description
Chris Reeve Green Beret 7″ Serrated with Flat Dark Earth PVD
Designed and engineered by Chris Reeve and William W. Harsey, the 2017 Green Beret knife improves the most important aspects of the tactical experience. It’s dorsal tapered profile and Rockwell hardness of 55-57 bring durability and shock-absorption enough for chopping, while slim, contoured canvas micarta handles ensure positive radial grip. Available with or without serrations in Black or Flat Dark Earth PVD.
This knife is known to the U.S. Army Special Forces as “The Yarborough” and to everyone else as “The Green Beret Knife”. It is a no-nonsense, hardworking tool. Made in Boise, Idaho the Green Beret Knife is a utility knife that, just like the men for whom it was designed, is efficient, tough and uncompromising.
The handle is made of extremely durable, textured and sandblasted, black canvas Micarta. When the handle is wet, the canvas fibers bloom which increases grip. If the handle becomes dirty, it can be cleaned with a brush and a household cleaner like Soft Scrub, and a touch of WD-40 to bring back the original color.
The Green Beret comes in both 7 and 5.5 inch models. The 5.5 inch model was developed based on user feedback requesting a smaller, handier field utility version of the popular Green Beret design.
